Responsibilities

•  Assist in fund accounting, reconciliation, fund audit, risk management and fund operations
•  Responsible for daily processing of investment transactions and the preparation of Net Asset Value (“NAV”) for funds
• Liaise with investment managers, brokers and fund administrators on trading activity as required for transaction processing and NAV preparation
•  Monitor cash activities of the funds including cash transfers for investment needs, receipts of subscription proceeds, payments of redemptions and funds’ operating expenses
• Assist COO to work with external service providers (e.g., lawyers, auditors, tax advisors, brokers) and/or regulators in all aspects covering finance, accounting, regulatory reporting and tax matters
•  Assist in monitoring risk management guideline compliance for the funds
• Assist in ad hoc fund accounting, client services and compliance tasks. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines
• CPA, completion of certain core HKICPA modules, FRM, a certificate in legal studies and/or any other relevant professional qualification is a plus
• Prior work experience in audit, fund accounting, financial accounting, taxation, legal & compliance, operations support, risk management and/or data management is preferred
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent command of English
•  Detail-minded and well-organized
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•  A team player and a self-starter, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work well under pressure
