Our client runs business in commodity trading, connecting companies for recyclable plastic and selling the plastics to manufacturer. Headquartered in Hong Kong, they developed a global profile with strong operations in Australia Finland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey, Spain and UK, serving clients worldwide. They are now looking for a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to support the business in UK.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Senior Accountant in producing accurate and timely management accounts
• Manage the accounts payable mailbox
• Complete multicurrency supplier payment runs in different currencies and multicurrency bank reconciliations (£, €, $)
• Keep our accounts up to date and process material, shipping and overhead invoices
• Be involved in reconciling supplier statements and raising purchase orders

 Requirements:

• 1 Years’ experience in full set of accounting or AP is preferred
• Experience in using an accounting system, currently Sage, moving to ERP, to record accurate financial data
• Experienced in balance sheet reconciliation
• Able to anticipate opportunities and risks
• Fluent in Cantonese and English
• Good communication skills
• Highly organized, able to independently plan own time
• Experience in handling and overturning objection

• Mon to Fri work
• 3 months’ contract, possible to renew depending on performance
• Located in Lai Chi Kok
