Job Description

Our client is a "promising prospect” artificial intelligence firm, with state-of-the-art A.I. and deep learning technologies that empower innumerable applications serving the content, creative, media, and marketing industries. Due to rapid growth, they are now looking for a Senior Accounting Officer/ Assistant Accounting Manager (in-house role) to join their team. 

Job Scopes 

  • Handle full set accounting functions for company operations 
  • Handle routine financial matters related to taxation, auditing, banking and investments/ funding  
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, schedules, management reports  
  • Handle annual statutory audit and interim review 
  • Prepare budgeting, forecasting and analysis 
  • Responsible for timely preparation and interpretation of all financial information, and advice on critical business decision  
  • Maintain proper records and books of account in compliance with prevailing Accounting Standards, Company policies and procedures 
  • Perform ad hoc projects as required 

Requirements 

  • Degree or above in accounting or related discipline 
  • At least 3 to 5 years of full set of accounting experience 
  • Experience in a tech startup firm is an advantage 
  • Familiar with Xero system is an advantage  
  • Good communication skills, ability to work independently 
  • Good command of English and Chinese 
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Excel, Word  
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
