We are now seeking a high caliber candidate to join our Hong Kong Branch.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the overall operations of Accounting and Finance Department
• Prepare / Review internal and external reports based on the latest accounting policy / accounting standards and regulations (including but not limited to Banking Ordinance and Inland Revenue Ordinance)
• Recommend and implement best practices and policies, procedures and/or process improvements to enhance the efficiency of operations and financial systems
• Liaise with external auditors and other external parties in carrying out their examination
• Prepare business plan and budget
• Provide coaching / supervision / on-the-job training to subordinates
• Handle tasks assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the banking industry
• Familiar with financial accounting principles, regulatory requirements and accounting systems
• With strong leadership, presentation and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules
• Proficient in both spoken and written English
