Job Description

Purpose of the Position:-

Under the general description, the incumbent oversee Credit Control & Collection functions. Incumbent also have a few major customers to manage personally. Incumbent also assists Manager within areas such as maintaining and enforcing Credit Control & Collection policies and procedures; and performs related duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:-

  • Evaluating new credit requests and conducting client credit checks.
  • Setting up the terms of credit for new clients.
  • Responding to client inquiries.
  • Liaising with customers and the sales team.
  • Responsible for customer collection including claims and deduction follow up
  • Timely update on customer claims/chargebacks and its settlement for customer.
  • Prepare customer credit memo and intercompany transactions.
  • Process credit block checking.
  • Evaluate customers aging status and recommend follow up actions.
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as requested. 

Qualifications & Experience:-

  • High Diploma or Above, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Business or relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Credit Control & Collection.
  • Familiar with credit operation cycle and credit related processes.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure.
  • Results oriented and good time management.
  • Passionate with positive mindset towards changes and advert situations. General accounting knowledge essential.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills and detail oriented.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, knowledge of SAP is an advantage. Experience in SAP is preferable.
  • Immediate available is preferred
