Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Lead a team to perform management accounting, reporting and budgeting;
• Provide technical accounting advice and support to the Group’s finance teams and business units and on transactions to ensure the Group’s compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements;
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and analysis for management review;
• Lead the production of the Group’s consolidated financial statements and relevant financial sections of the Interim and Annual Reports;
• Direct and coordinate planning and preparation of forecast and annual budget;
• Liaise with regulators and external audit firms and tax representatives for the preparation of statutory financial reports;
• Perform ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned.

Qualification & Experience

• Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or related;
• With HKICPA/ACCA Professional qualification;
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience from international audit firm or sizeable Listed companies, with 5 years at supervisory level;
• Good understanding of the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and the Listing Rules;
• Familiar with Retail industry is preferred;
• Excellent communication and supervisory skills for sizeable A&F team;
• Mindset of Workflow enhancement is preferred;
• Strong business mindset and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented.
