Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Manage and supervise all accounting operations assuming full ownership in month end close
  • Prepare group consolidation for financial audit
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations 
  • Endorse invoice payment and funding disbursements handled by Accounts Payable team
  • Monitor cash position of the Council, drive debt collection and manage treasury activities
  • Support monthly reporting package and preparation of Council papers 
  • Drive improvement projects related to simplification and/or digitalization of accounting processes and internal controls
  • Oversee and act as the process owner of the FICO module of SAP system
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as auditors, advisors and bankers 
  • Assist in ad-hoc assignments and reporting as required

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Degree or above from Accounting or Finance related disciplines or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ accounting and finance experience with multinational or sizable organizations
  • Qualified Accountant, with experience and knowledge of HKFRS 15
  • Knowledge of FICO module of SAP system a plus
  • Independent, self-motivated, team player, and able to work under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in computer packages including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Good command of English
