Lauris Walton is a global recruitment specialist in Finance & Accounting industry. We’re partnering with a fast-growing MNC with a significant expansion plan in China and Hong Kong to seek a Finance Director to join their fast-growing finance team. This position will play a key role in managing the financial control and FP&A function for one of their business units. It will also work heavily with the Managing Director on strategic planning and business development.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the finance department of the responsible business unit and oversees the month-end closing process, FP&A, budgeting & forecasting and business analysis
• Work closely with top management on investment management strategic planning and advise on key financial insights for business development purposes
• Involve in ongoing financial projects to improve internal control and compliance, to ensure the finance team working effectively and efficiently
• Review legal contract and advise internal departments on feedback
• Manage the corporate function, e.g. HR, IT, Admin for the responsible BU
• Work closely with internal department and external lawyers auditors on finance and operations matters

Role requirements:

• Degree in Finance & Accounting or related disciplines
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience, preferably gained from sizable MNCs
• Prior experience in investment, FP&A, strategic planning is essential
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are essential
• Open to travelling is essential (Mainly within GCR/APAC regions)
