Job Description
Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. Major teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge and Risk Management.
Join our Risk Management team and help protect EY from risks that arise from its professional practice. Risk Management teams provide coordinated advice and assistance on independence, conflicts, regulatory and risk management issues, as well as dealing with claims, and any queries regarding the organization’s ethics. You’ll help us meet our compliance responsibilities while supporting our client-facing teams as they deliver quality service to their clients.

- Strong communication and project management skills to handle daily work and ad-hoc projects.
- Ability to learn, understand and apply the key policies/requirements of firm and relevant ethical standards
- Demonstrate proactivity to facilitate and strongly drive the process to completion by proper following up
- A good team player to work with on obtaining background materials required to initiate any necessary review
- Proficient research and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills and a pro-active nature, to progress multi-stage and overlapping tasks through to completion
- Ability to interact positively with colleagues of similar or higher seniority in other departments, both with respect to achieving outcomes and cordiality
- Commercial awareness of the issues facing the business and the ability to deal with problems in a practical but thorough manner
To qualify for the role you must have
- University graduate with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in compliance and risk management function
- Previous experience working in professional /auditing or other service lines in a sizeable accounting firm will be considered
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including ability to interact in Mandarin and simplified characters to a sufficient level
- Willing to travel to mainland China if needed occasionally
- the ability to keep confidential sensitive information
