Responsibilities:

Assist the Financial Controller to:

• Oversee local finance teams of overseas subsidiaries in Myanmar (Extensive overseas travel is required)
• Oversee the local HR/Admin/IT teams
• Perform forecasting & analysis, budgetary control, cash flow management, tax reporting & operation review
• Review management accounts and assist to prepare reports for top management in a timely, accurate & efficient manner
• Control receivables/payables
• Monitor cash management:  banking/foreign exchange/overseas remittance
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly financial reports as per requirement
• Handle and liaise with auditors/bankers/lawyers/government departments
• Handle ad-hoc assignment as required

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Accountancy or Finance with Professional accounting qualifications from recognized accounting bodies, e.g. HKICPA / ACCA
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in accounting/auditing with 3 years in a managerial role
• Previous working experience in property development/telecommunication/F&B is highly preferred
• Proficiency in Hong Kong accounting standards, taxation, and other legal and compliance regulations.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
• Flexible, detail-oriented, well organized with strong leadership skills
• Able to take initiative, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound knowledge of MS applications and ERP systems.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
