The Regional Treasurer will oversee the treasury functions including interest and debt analysis with provision of relevant information and report, cash management and tax planning for the regional operation.

 Job duties:

 Cash Management

• Monitor local and regional cash flow positions and implement the Group Treasury Cash Policy. 
• Monitor inter-company payments process and manage inter-company funding. 
• Manage Intercompany funding agreements, which include drafting, booking, reconciliation, and quarterly interest calculation.
• Monitor automatic cash pooling – implement manual cash pooling and Intercompany invoices settlement.
• Develop ad hoc cash reporting at the project level and defining the treasury metrics for monitoring the Payable and Receivables aging of the entities.

Bank Guarantees

• Advice and support to the businesses on the issuance of guarantees (bid-bonds, performance bonds, payment guarantees) And actively manage guarantees issued (bank fees, fee back charge, guarantee release)
• Update Headquarter (HQ) about the Regional Bonding needs on time and support HQ in liaising with Banks for the issuances of bonds.

 FX exposure

• Provide monthly reporting analysis of FX gains & losses and P&L impact in the Region and update HQ about the regional FX needs and support the compliance with Group FX hedging policy
• Identify FX exposure at the main entities level
• Draft proper accounting documentation to allow hedge accounting under IFRS9

  Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Treasury risk management as well as intra-group liquidity management in an MNC environment  (With relevant professional qualification such as CFA/CPA will be desirable)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail
• Must have IFRS 9 accounting knowledge
• Reliable, autonomous, committed, proactive, and with good interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in the use of B.I. tools or with some programming skills (SQL, VBA, etc.)
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
