Responsibilities
- Perform month-end variance analysis, forecasting, internal and external reporting on a timely and accurate manner. Prepare financial reports, including summaries on plans, trends and forecasts
- Partner with the respective business owners for the development of the Annual Operating Plan, Five Year Plan and other long term strategies
- Integrate strategies, initiatives and financial data to quantitative analysis which facilitate the leaders to make decision, optimize the business and drive long term business growth
- Supervise direct reports and provide day to day coaching.
- Lead and prepare the pro forma of new business initiatives, which highlight the business risks and opportunities for management decision making. Perform the post mortem of the new business initiatives and apply the key learning to the future business initiatives.
- Work closely with financial reporting and internal control team to implement the controls and executive HKDL policies.
- Seek out and create new tools/techniques/methodologies to enhance business results.
- Structure efficient and sustainable work processes and system for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Business related discipline
- 6-8 years relevant experience, with Financial Planning & Accounting experience (Big 4, Corporate Finance) is preferred
- Strong business acumen and proficient in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, spreadsheet creation, and project management with attention to details and ability to multi-task
- Strong team player as well as leader
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of spoken and written in English and Cantonese
- Familiar with Microsoft office, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Understanding of information systems and data analytics will be a plus
- Knowledge of SAP and MS Power BI is preferred
- Professional qualification, such as Qualified Accountant, CFA is preferred
