Job Description
Harrow International School Hong Kong is the first international boarding and day school in Hong Kong. It is the third school in the Harrow family of schools in the Asia region and provides a British education from Early Years to Year 13 in custom-built facilities in a stunning location in Hong Kong. Job Title: Human Resources Officer
Job Purpose: To be responsible for wide spectrum of human resources functions with focus in compensation & benefits
Start Date: September 2022

Reporting Line: Human Resources Manager
Job Description
- Providing general administrative support to the Human Resources Department, including daily operation and compensation & benefits functions
- Responsible for employment visa process, and qualifications assessment and teacher registration applications for overseas-hired staff
- Supporting C&B function including payroll, MPF administration, insurance administration and taxation
- Monitoring and following up the probation review of staff
- Monitoring and preparing renewal contract for staff
- Supporting on-boarding formalities including documents checking and p-file opening
- Supporting post-employment arrangement including final payment calculation, tax clearance, MPF withdrawal, issue certificate of service
- Preparing employment documents, human resources correspondences and regular reports
- Maintaining varies HR records including visa information, qualifications, staff movement, on-boarding and off-boarding formalities, payroll-related information
- Maintaining accurate data in the HRIS and filing system
- Involving in the design and development of the new HRIS system
- Responding to the government regular survey
- Supporting the team in handling ad hoc projects as assigned
- Implementing safeguarding procedures at the School
- Undertaking duties as the Head of School or a delegated representative may reasonably request.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will be likely to fit the following profile:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline
Skills:
- High proficiency in English (both written and verbal communication), fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin
- Strong computer skills in MS Office Applications and knowledge in HRIS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience gained from multi-cultural working environment
Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of HR practices, employment ordinance and other HR related legislations and compliance
Personal Qualities:
- Good team spirit, strong initiative, multi-tasking and able to meet tight deadline
- Responsible, well-organized, detail-minded
- Strong analytical skills and numerical sense
- Handle confidential information in a professional manner

- Working hours:
- Five day per week
