Job Description
Role Purpose:
Our Packaging Assistant is responsible for food packaging design and development for international sourced Own Brand articles and to ensure the best fulfillment of customer needs.
What you will be handling:
Our Packaging Assistant is responsible for food packaging design and development for international sourced Own Brand articles and to ensure the best fulfillment of customer needs.
What you will be handling:
- Steering whole packaging workflow and collaborating closely with sourcing specialists and quality departments
- Delivering packaging designs and provide instruction briefing to external partners, such as packaging design agencies, translation agencies, suppliers and printers
- Guarantee the consistency in design and printing quality across all projects following corporate own brand guidelines
- Checking and approve adopted artworks and labels from supplier before printing
- Update and maintain the artwork database, provide full transparency for all members in Food Sourcing team
- Knowledge in food packaging materials, modern packaging, printing process and knowhow in the trade area
- Well organized, attention to details with solution-oriented mindset
- Possess strong sense of ownership and high degree of independence
- Higher Diploma graduate or above in Packaging Science / Food Science / Supply Chain Management or equivalent discipline
- 1-2 years’ relevant experience in Food packaging / design solution, preferable in multi-national trading companies / retailer
- Knowledge in EU legal requirements and regulation on food Labelling is advantageous
- Experienced in Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop is advantageous
- Good command in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook) applications
- Immediately available is highly preferred
- Fresh graduates are also welcome
- 5-days work (Monday – Friday, 7.5 hours per day)
- A 6-month contract will be offered to successful candidate
- Contract renewal will be subject to the workload
