Research and Development Division

The appointee is expected to assist the Division to conduct research projects on the bioactivities of Chinese Medicines. Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, animal test, and extraction of Chinese medicines is required. Knowledge on immunohistochemistry and molecular biology techniques will be an added advantage.

Applicants should have a PhD or MPhil Degree in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Chinese Medicine or Biology. Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years of relevant laboratory experience may be considered for the post of Senior Research Assistant.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
