Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow through on claims with insurance brokers, insurers, solicitors and loss adjusters
  • Attend to and assist insurance related enquiries and concerns
  • Prepare regular claim summary report and analysis of claim data
  • Assist in tendering for insurance contracts renewal
  • Assist in reviewing and renewing of all types of insurance schemes, perform insurance schemes’ analysis and provide recommendations to supervisor
  • Prepare, manage and follow through for bank accounts changes, credit card applications and suspension
  • Assist in establishing, reviewing and implementing relevant policies and procedures related to Insurance and Banking
  • Assist in handling central administrative duties including but not limited to ordering and monitoring stocks of office supplies, maintenance of office equipment, application and renewal of licenses, arranging courier services and documentation
  • Assist in supervising and scheduling the work for Office Cleaners and Office Assistant
  • Provide receptionist duties
  • Support budgeting, cost analysis and compliance procedures
  • Assist in sourcing quotations for purchasing, placing purchase orders, follow-up and payments
  • Assist in annual stock taking
  • Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the superiors
REQUIREMENTS
  • An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
  • Degree holder in Business Administration or other related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of solid experience in handling insurance
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Attention to detail, independent with strong sense of responsibility
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
