Job Description

Executive Officer I/II in the Office of the Vice-President (Development and External Relations) [Ref. D/344/03]Duties

The appointee will play a key role in providing full support for event planning and management, as well as cultivation and donor stewardship activities. Major duties include organising fundraising events, donation ceremonies and other related activities; preparing communication materials and promotional videos; supporting internal and external liaisons; providing creative input and support for special projects; and performing any other duties as assigned.

Irregular working hours may be required.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ post-qualification working experience, preferably in event management, marketing, public relations or communication services. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills; good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); ability to work competently in a fast-paced environment with strong creativity; being a good team player with great attention to details; and good knowledge of computer software applications (e.g. Word and Excel) are required. Experience in fundraising and alumni relations would be an advantage.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
