JOB PURPOSE

Training Coordinators contribute to the daily administration and coordination of training functions and events. This position is well-suited for individuals who enjoy organization, retail writing and learning new techniques to better educate client advisors in the stores.

Training Coordinators typically work in an office environment and report to Retail Trainer. This full-time position requires a typical daytime weekday commitment, which reflects office hours. Travel is very occasionally required to perform the functions of this job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize and Coordinate Training Events
Training Coordinators organize training events by scheduling travel arrangements, making lodging arrangements, and scheduling conference and training room time for various training events.

Proof Read Training Materials
Training Coordinators proofread written and visual training materials used to guide trainees.

Clerical duties
Training Coordinators perform office clerical duties such as organizing digital and paper files as well as copying and scanning documents.

Script Writing
Training Coordinators write scripts for customer outreach by client advisor.

Prepare Conference and Training Rooms
Training Coordinators straighten up and restock conference and training rooms, refilling supplies, and performing light custodial tasks as needed to keep these areas clean and well-organized.

Training Coordinator Skills and Qualifications
Organization Skills – The position must juggle many different tasks and maintain training schedules, professionals pursuing this path must have great organization skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines

Interpersonal Skills - Employers look for Training Coordinators with strong interpersonal skills because they often coordinate with different functions in the office and stores.

Chinese writing skills – the position is expected to both write client scripts for the stores, and proof read training materials translated from English into Chinese.  Occasionally translation work is required.  Passion in Chinese writing, use of elevated wordings and persistency is written language will be a big plus.

Communication Skills - Training Coordinators must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to produce training materials, make bookings, and schedule events with vendors

Data Entry - Training Coordinators enter digital information into office computer systems, which means that anyone seeking this job must familiar with Microsoft 360 such as Teams and SharePoint 

Requirements:

-University graduate in Business, literature, hotel management, translations or related disciplines;
-1 year of experience in training roles is a plus; high potential fresh graduates who are eloquent in writing and passionate in organization small details will also be considered
-Proficient with Microsoft 360 & MS Office, such as Teams and SharePoint
-Fluent in written English and Chinese, Proficiency in Putonghua is a definite advantage;
