Job Description

Opportunity

As an office administrator, you will act as a point of contact for all employees and external clients, providing administrative support and managing their queries. You will be exposed to a broad spectrum of work, which includes general office administration, liaising with customers, and preparing reports.

Nutek continues to grow, and this opportunity extends to its employees. We are looking to continually improve the status quo by increasing our scope of administration and developing new systems to improve internal processes. You will be challenged to think outside the box and propose original ideas that will excel the company forward. Therefore, our office administrators may be given the opportunity to increase their scope and grow along with Nutek.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a positive liaison with customers: understand their needs, provide support, direct them to the appropriate colleague, and follow up on unresolved questions/concerns
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mails, letters, packages, etc.)
  • Collect and enter technical data
  • Update, organize, and maintain filing systems
  • Track office supplies stock and place orders when necessary
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Assisting in various daily operations
  • Update office policies as needed
  • Greeting guests and visitors
  • Answer queries by employees

Education

  • Secondary school - Form 7
  • Additional qualifications in Office Administration or related fields are an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in clerical or administrative work is preferred
  • Candidates without experience may be considered

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
