Job Summary

To establish and implement cross countries HR solutions, policies and programs in line with business/function strategy globally. Manage and deliver key HR policy and operations include organization capability development, talent acquisition, employee development, succession planning for key positions, performance management, reward and recognition (include compensation & benefits), health and safety, internal and external relations such as universities/institutes, government statutory bodies and managing outsourced HR service provider(s).

  • This role is a combination of both a HR business partner and HR Generalist role. Therefore, the job holder will be required to possess good business partnering skills, strong in HR operations and execution while have good business understanding.
  • The job holder need to collaborate and work and manage multiple stakeholders like business leaders and employees in different countries, and different internal HR teams, etc.
  • The job holder need to be a change agent and facilitator as the group is going through various transformation in the business and in the organization.
  • The job holder also need to review current HR policies and ensure all essential and fundamental HR policies and process are in place while making continuous improvement in line with internal business needs and external market trends.
  • The job holder need to have a good understanding employment regulations HK and China and have some basic understanding of employment regulations for other European & US countries such as UK, NL, Germany, France, Poland, etc.
  • The job holder need to be highly independent and hands-on with some internal HR resources support. E.g. partner with external vendors, some in-house HR, Office administration or F&A colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement effective HR solutions, programs and processes are in line with business/function strategy & needs and local statutory requirements
  • Perform HR activities such as organization capability development, talent acquisition, employee development, succession planning for key positions, performance management, reward and recognition (include compensation & benefits), health and safety, internal and external relations such as universities/institutes, government statutory bodies and managing outsourced HR service provider(s)
  • Involve in transformation projects to build required capabilities in line with business requirements
  • Act as facilitator to change; induction of new people, facilitate change in people or organization in line with business strategy
  • Ensures good quality of people and succession planning through development actions and or external talent acquisition
  • To cultivate and embed new company values and foster a performance driven, team trust and collaboration, innovative work culture.
  • Engage, advice and provide HR support and solutions to leaders/managers and employees on people related issues
  • Responsible for global consolidation and deployment for key HR processes like Employee development and performance management or any other global HR initiatives.
  • Lead Global L&D function and recommend L&D solutions to cope with business growth & strategies. Assist in training needs analysis, design and implement of local and global training programs.
  • Manage outsourced vendors to ensure smooth and cost effective HR operations; recruitment, payroll, benefits admin (include pension), learning, etc.
  • Ensures that all HR operations are seamless and HR services provided to the business meet its requirements.
  • Manages cost of all HR services provided to business within agreed budgets.

Requirements

  • Masters/Degree in Human Resource Management/HRD /Business Management.
  • Must have at least 8 to 15 years' working experience in broad-based HR generalist function with Global scope (at least 5 years), preferably in commercial environment or consumer products industry
  • Some HR business partnering experience and skills set (at least 5 years) with some strategic HR thinking
  • Proactive, independent, results-driven, hands on, good with details, strong analytical skills, resourceful, flexible, team player, resilience, strong interpersonal & communication skills with people and business mindset
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and relevant local languages. Knowledge of Chinese language is added advantage.
