The Role
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for full spectrum of general human resources functions in the daily operation at MCHK (Main School). The incumbent will provide support to the HR Manager in recruitment, employee relations, HR services and other HR projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a full set of local recruitment services including advertising, selection and interview arrangement
• Handle local employment and appointment services
• Handle the communication with candidates
• Support visa application, qualification assessment, background check & safeguarding procedures
• Maintain updated recruitment checklists
• Support the new staff orientation program
• Assist in onboarding services for expatriate staff
• Maintain staff information and records, support document uploads and database management
• Handle employee compensation cases
• Prepare employment certification, staff lists and reports
• Assist in various employment surveys
• Assist in ad-hoc duties as assigned

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources Management or related discipline
• 3 years or above of HR or related full-time working experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset
• High proficiency in English (both written and verbal communication), fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua
• Knowledge of Employment Ordinance and other HR related legislations in Hong Kong
• Proficient in MS Office applications, Chinese word processing and Google Suite
• Good team spirit, strong initiative, proactive and positive thinking
• Responsible, patient, well-organised and detail-oriented
• Willing to accept new challenges, can-do attitude and able to handle multi-tasks
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Immediate availability is an advantage
