Job Purpose:

• Responsible in providing to conduct community liaison and carry out other public relation related works
• Responsible for the Marketing and Sales of the compost generated by OPARK1
• Enhance community’s awareness of the importance in cherishing food and source separation via the Site Tours in OPARK1, various occasions and possible communications channels
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Organize and Lead visits / activities to enhance the community’s awareness of waste issues and operation of concerned facilities
• Prepare presentation materials including brochure, video, posters, PowerPoint, business car, data sheets etc. and liaises with designated Client officers and OPARK1 managers on organizing and execution of community relations programs
• Coordinate the Site Tours and the maintenance service of Environment Educational Centre
• Handle Complains from Clients and surrounding Neighbors if any
• Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations
• Prepare Monthly reports and submit to the Project Manager and Employer Commercial role
• Promote, market and sales of compliant mature compost produced from OPARK1
• Arrange for the Sales of other recyclables from OPARK1
• Cultivated and maintained relationships with Clients, Customers and other Stake holders
• Pursue new accounts through lead generation, cold calls and advertising referrals
• Create and manage the sales plans to maximize revenues in certain territories and optimize time spent at each location
• Perform sales presentations to client and Stake holders
• Handle high volume phone sales, email inquiries and referrals at times
• Liaise and communicate with waste collectors effectively if any change in operation
• Keep Close relationship with Group Public Relation Officer
• Take part in meetings and prepared the meeting minutes as requested by the Project Manager
• Work on any other assignments assigned by Project Manager

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or above in Sales & Marketing / Business or related discipline
• At least 5 years’ experience in public relation
• Sales & Marketing experience required
• Solid experience in project management
• Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Good communication skills; computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.
• Pro-active, independent and can work under pressure
• Well-organized, responsible and hard-working
• Result-oriented with positive attitude
