Job Description

Duties:

  • Assist Manager to perform purchasing activities from sourcing, negotiation, develop supplier network and long-term partnership
  • Prepare and follow up purchase order, request quotation and fulfill shop’s queries.
  • Assist in sales activities including quotation, forecast and order’s follow-up
  • Arrange logistics delivery and monitor purchases order process
  • Update inventory / delivery & supplier records
  • Maintain purchasing database and records
  • Responsible for price negotiation, process purchase orders and confirm delivery with the suppliers, liaise with suppliers to resolve purchasing issues
  • Assist in project implementation related to purchasing or related system
  • Conduct market research and analysis reports
  • Resolves all queries with other user departments and suppliers
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Diploma holder or above in Supply Chain Management, Procurement / Purchasing management studies or related field
  • 2-5 year in procurement experience, preferably in fresh / chilled / frozen food retail or related business
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / ERP system is advantaged
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word processing
  • Willing to learn, self-motivated and independently
  • Competency to handle daily purchasing work independently
  • Good in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
  • Strong negotiation, communication and organization skills
  •  Experience in food industry is preferred
  • Immediate available is preferred
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Procurement Officer
