Job Description

An Insurance Company is seeking for a Manager, HR Operations.

  • Responsible for the delivery of people strategies, programmes or projects to align with business priorities and statutory obligations. 
  • Accountable for the management of end-to-end HR operation activities throughout employment lifecycle (e.g. contract preparation, pre-employment screening, right to work, creation and management of employee records, on-boarding, probation assessment documents, job changes, leaves, information changes, exit arrangements, etc.) 
  • Maintaining payroll services that is compliance with applicable employment ordinance and tax obligations in all jurisdictions that the company operates. Manage stakeholders and vendors to ensure accurate & timely delivery of payroll, pension, tax filing and support payroll outsourcing project.
  • Work closely with the Business Partner team in the development and delivery of on-boarding programmes to ensure we provide an impressive first 90-day on-boarding journey to new joiners. 
  • Build up good relationship with key stakeholders and employees to facilitate productive working environment and as a contact point for HR enquiries in relation to HR operations, policies and procedures. 
  • Managing risks and ensure compliance with internal policies and external legislation/regulation in order to minimize the cost and effort that may result from errors and poor people management practices. 
  • Accountable for the management of HR Information System, including maintenance of employee records, bug fixing, vendor management, annual license renewal and etc. 
  • Work with the Business Partner team on other people related activities throughout the employment lifecycle (e.g. employee engagement, talent management, people matters, etc.) 
  • Constantly review and standardize HR handbook, manuals, policies and procedures and produce reports as when required. 
  • Enhance performance management processes and system to drive a high performance culture. 
  • Support the Chief People Officer in the delivery of special people projects and/or ad-hoc duties as assigned. 

 Requirement: 

  • University graduate or above 
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience at similar capacity 
  • Sound knowledge in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF Ordinance and employment related statutory legislations 
  • Ability to prioritise and work flexibly to meet tight deadlines 
  • Focus on process, detail and high quality output 
  • Team player who is comfortable taking responsibility and delivering activities on target 
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Chinese Word processin
