Job Description
Our client is a rapidly expanding US buying office and they are looking for a HR Manager (Generalist). This person will lead one staff and reporting to the MD.
Key responsibilities include:-
Recruitment and on-boarding:
- Responsible for the recruitment process, from placement of advertisements, shortlist of suitable candidates, arrangement of interviews to coordination and administration of HR records of new hires
- Prepares and coordinates the induction program for new hires to ensure smooth on-boarding
Compensation and benefits:
- Administers and manages total compensation and benefits structure, including payroll administration
- Advises and implements competitive incentive scheme to enhance team productivity and engagement
- Adopts responsibility for social insurance, health insurance and personal income tax declaration for company’s employees
- Prepares HR related reports for budgetary purpose
Training and development:
- Recommends and implements training programs for employees within approved budget and monitors effectiveness of the programs
- Prepares employees for assignments
- Adopts responsibility for annual performance appraisal procedures
- Adopts responsibility for the leadership talent review
Employee relations:
- Promotes positive employer/employee relations
- Assists in facilitating employee communication with management
- Serves as the main point of contact to manage queries and grievances of employees
Human resource management:
- Drives structure by maintaining proper management guidelines in recommending, preparing, updating and communicating HR policies and procedures to employees
- Ensures that Company’s HR policies are fully compliant with statutory laws to minimize risk
- Drives HR related projects
Administrative:
- Prepare employment contract, renewal and all related documents and monitor probation period.
- Processes staff claims and medical leave, annual leave, etc.
- Responsible for HR records in a proper fashion, taking into consideration sensitivity of HR info.
To succeed in this role, you will have 4+ years experience in HR. Previous C&B experience is a must.
