Project Title: Designing and Evaluating an Artificial Intelligence Literacy Programme for University and Secondary School Students
[Appointment Period: around 12 months]

The appointee will be responsible for providing research support for a large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) literacy project. Duties include reviewing the programme resources on AI literacy developed during pilot run; reviewing AI literacy learning resources based on literature review; conducting systematic literature review on AI literacy, AI ethics and related topics; developing and validating research instruments; developing survey questionnaires and tests; conducting multi-level data analysis and compiling data report; writing papers on AI literacy; as well as performing other duties assigned by the project principal investigator. The appointment will be for a period of around 12 months.

For the post of Post-doctoral Fellow, applicants should have a Doctoral Degree in Psychology, Education or related disciplines, with strong statistical analysis ability.

For the post of Senior Research Assistant, applicants should have a Master’s Degree, preferably in Psychology, education or related disciplines, plus one-year post Master’s degree full-time working experience, or a Doctoral Degree.

Applicants should have an excellent command of written English and Chinese, proficiency in spoken Cantonese, high capability of conducting statistical analysis, and writing reports/ papers independently. A sound background in statistics and experience in using statistical packages such as SPSS and R, is advantageous. They should be self-motivated and able to work as a team member. Applicants with academic background and research experience in related fields would be preferable. Immediate availability is preferred.
