Job Description

Department of Early Childhood Education

Project Title: Role of distraction on children's math performance
[Appointment Period: 12 months]

The appointee will assist in literature review, E-prime programming, data management and analyses. He/she will also liaise with participants and administer standardized psychological and achievement tests in primary schools. The appointment will be for a period of 12 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, preferably with relevant post-qualification full-time working experience, or an approved qualification or equivalent standard. They should have good interpersonal and communication skills. Applicants should have high proficiency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
