Job Description

Our client is a luxury fashion house. To cope with the business needs, they are looking for a Finance Executive to join their team.

Under the responsibility of APAC Regional Manager and in close collaboration with the Finance Department based in Paris, the Finance Executive oversees reporting, is in charge of monitoring the accounts of all the subsidiaries in his/her area, and of building budgets and reviewing them with the APAC Regional Manager, Country Managers and Finance Team.

Your missions:

Contributes to the reporting in order to manage the consolidated financial performance of the Asia zone:

  • Sending accounting data and documents to external Accountants
  • Reconciliation of accounting turnover by boutique (and monthly calculation of variable rent if applicable)
  • Monitoring the taxes of the subsidiaries
  • Reception and analysis of monthly accounting reports (cut off/provisions/reconciliation…)
  • Animation and construction of the Budget and Estimated for the zone (CA, OPEX and CAPEX)
  • Preparation of monthly reports to the Finance Department
  • Support and monitoring of local audits
  • Realization of various or specific monthly analyzes (performance, various financial indicators, etc.), according to operational requests
  • Local internal control: stock equation / collection monitoring / assistance with local compliance
  • Drafting of procedures and documentation
  • Other ad hoc tasks according to the needs of the activity

Requirements
  • Master’s degree/ Business School or university type, spe. Finance/Accounting.
  • 3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting within luxury industry would be an advantage
  • Positive attitude, fast-paced, good team player, excellent interpersonal and communication skill, multitasking, detail-minded 
  • Fluent English and Chinese; both in written and spoken; ideally French Speaker
  • Capacity for analysis and synthesis
  • Strong accounting culture
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and common tools (knowledge of Cegid Y2 is a plus)
  • Travel occasionally in boutiques, also business trip among Asian regions may be required
