Responsibilities

• Review the accounting treatment for the month-ended closing related to investment assets on a fixed income, listed/private equity, and alternative investment such as MTM valuation amortized valuation calculation and assets impairment calculation.,
• Preparation of financial statements and necessary financial filings with auditors, regulators (HKIA), and tax authority, as well as certain financial accounting relating to investment funds.
• Ensure proper control checking and review procedures are in place to minimise errors in reporting.
• Responsible for reviewing the interface file checking, system enhancement, and data quality improvement.
• Handling ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree holder preferably in Accounting, finance or related discipline, CFA/FRM/ACCA/HKICPA or CICPA will be a definite an advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years’ working experience, preferably in auditing/ insurance / finance industry. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer.
• Hands-on experience in interface file checking with different systems.
• Knowledge of various financial instruments.
• Experience in Bloomberg terminal / SAP, Hi-portfolio, Tableau, or Power pivot will be an asset.
• Experience in report automation and data management.
• Proficient in MS Excel Tableau and Chinese word processing.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
