We are currently seeking for an experienced accountant who will support our Accounting Team.

Accountant

• Handle full spectrum and all-round financial management duties for the daily financial operations.
• Prepare full sets of General Ledger transactions into the financial systems
• Conduct monthly reconciliations for both income, expense and fund transactions.
• Job costing set up, cost allocations and fund administration.
• Process payroll including MPF administration, employee benefits/insurances and salary tax return issuances.
• Ensure financial integrity in safeguarding financial assets of the organizations, implement financial control assessment to comply with statutory standards and church financial policies and procedures.
• Assist in budget set up, maintenance, forecasting, and analysis.  
• Compile the financial analysis and management reporting.
• Bank set up, maintenance and liaison and process investment transactions.
• Annual audit preparations and statutory filing. 
• Assist to enhance automation projects to streamline the financial system regularly.
• Perform ad-hoc projects.
• Report to Senior Finance Director

Qualifications

• Degree holder in accounting / business / commerce or similar discipline.
• Professional accreditation is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years audit or experience in the accounting/ commercial industry, and comprehensive experience or knowledge of computer based accounting systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team player attitude. Energetic, self-initiative, independent, analytical mind, able to work in multi-tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Familiar with church / Non profit environment is preferred.
