The Job

• Key person in charge of FWD Life (Hong Kong) Limited & FWD Life Assurance Company (Hong Kong) Limited.  Manage key stakeholders. 
• Lead and/or carry out Internal Audit’s annual risk assessment and planning process to develop the three-year audit plan.  Through regular and proactive interaction with management, as well as analysis of management information and business activities, ensure the plan is responsive to and aligned with the risk profile of the organization.
• Lead and/or carry out audits.  Ensure internal audit work performed comply with Institute of Internal Auditor Standard. 
• Prepare audit reports that clearly articulate control deficiencies and risks and impact.  Ensure management develop action plans that address the identified control deficiencies in a timely manner.
• Proactively monitor status of corrective action plans.  Identify and report possible past due action items to Head of Internal Audit and management.
• Assist the Head of Internal Audit in training, mentoring and evaluating staff, and taking corrective actions to address performance issues.

The Person

• Degree from recognized university
• At least 10 years of insurance/finance experience in both external and internal audit, preferably in Asia
• Professional qualification internal audit or accountancy e.g. HKICPA, CISA, CIA, ASA
• Solid knowledge of life insurance industry (distribution, operation, compliance, internal controls over financial reporting, asset management), insurance products, accounting principles and internal control concepts
• Strong knowledge of Internal audit methodology and risk management frameworks
• High attention to details and have good analytical skills
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Good interpersonal, coaching / influencing skillAgent for change, where change is needed
