Accountabilities

• Lead functions of accounting and finance operation
• Manage internal and external reporting to ensure internal and external financial reports are prepared in an accurate and timely manner and in compliance with local and US GAAP & all reporting deadlines are met for multiple entity and sets of books in HK & Macau
• Review the adequacy of the current accounting system and practice, identify areas for improvement and implement action plans accordingly
• Establish, develop and refine the affiliate policies and procedures for the preparation, control and reporting of the financial activities of the affiliate which are consistent with regulatory requirements. Ensure all financial affairs in the affiliate are conducted on a basis consistent with approved policies and procedures and in compliance with SOX controls
• Responsible for international transfer pricing and ensure required transfer pricing documentation is maintained and updated on a regular basis
• Manage relations with banking institutions and direct cash management including cash flow forecast, credit control, collection and disbursement policies and procedures
• Actively participation in B2R, O2C, P2P APAC Community of Practice and lead any changes to SAP coding Block and Reporting changes as required
• Provide strong leadership to the team to support a fast-growing business while at the same time focusing on developing team core competence through a series of development initiatives such as on-the-job training, coaching. Identify team member’s training needs, work out training and development plan and execute the plan accordingly

Qualifications

• University graduate with major in finance or accounting
• CPA certification with strong familiarity to US GAAP and financial reporting and SOX control processes for listed US companies
• Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in Finance Controlling position with no less than 15 years of total work experience in the field of Accounting or Auditing
• Able to work in a fast paced, analytical focused organization and think on their feet and demonstrate the ability to make sound decisions based on factual analysis
• Having proven track record of managing and handling local compliance related matters; Big 4 working experience is a plus.
• Being able to effectively engage, manage and influence senior management and peers across the affiliate and the corporate
• A solution-finding and hands-on approach to work with a keen eye for technical detail is required. Being commercial acumen and business oriented
