Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage internal audit engagements from planning, risk assessment, fieldwork to reporting for Insurance Business
- Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, business process and internal controls, identify weaknesses and provide sound recommendations
- Provide stakeholders with valuable recommendations on operational and compliance effectiveness and efficiency
- Report significant audit matters to Senior Management and Audit Committee on a regular basis
- Act as a team manager to support the audit head in guiding and developing the insurance audit team
- Ad-hoc duties and projects as required
- Degree or above with major in Accountancy, Finance or related disciplines
- Professional qualifications of CPA or CFA or CIA
- FLMI, FSA, FRM, CAMS will be an advantage
- 8-10 years of solid experience in Life insurance and investment products
- Knowledge in IFRS 17 and/or Risk-based Capital preferred
- Good team-player with excellent project management, interpersonal and people management skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English, with good command of Mandarin and English
