Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, evaluate and implement total compensation & benefits strategies and programs.
  • Evaluate and refine performance management, incentive, and bonus programs to support business goals.
  • Review and update HRM policies and procedures including C&B policies, insurance policies, holidays, allowances, and other benefits for the Group and its subsidiaries regularly to compliance with laws, regulations, and the company’s mission and vision.
  • Lead the payroll team to ensure accurate and on-time payroll services, including but not limited to regular payroll, final payment, pension scheme, and tax-related issues etc.
  • Review job classification framework and salary structures; provide advice on job grading and carry alignment to salary structures whenever necessary.
  • Participate in salary surveys in the market, lead market intelligence and benchmarking.
  • Monitor staff budgets and prepare the budget reports.
  • Responsible for vendor selection and management, as assigned.
  • Support other ad hoc projects as required.
  • Serve as regional liaison to corporate HR and HR management to ensure a cohesive HR presence at all GA Health locations.
  • Travel is required – approximately 30% of the time.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree or above in Human Resources Management.
  • At least 8 years of experience in domestic and international of Compensation & Benefits and HR operations. At least 3 years of HR operations and/or recruiting experience in the international development industry in EU countries is preferred.
  • Well-versed in HR-related ordinances, including employment ordinances, salary tax ordinances, and MPF ordinances in Hong Kong.
  • Knowledge of HR regulations in EU countries and China is an advantage.
  • Deep understanding of compensation administration
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Strong leadership presence and experience managing and influencing diverse groups and individuals.
  • General business acumen, with demonstrated analytical and creative thinking ability.
  • Experience developing and utilizing talent metrics to measure the achievement of the organization’s strategic and business goals and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Superior analytical and complex problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, direct reports, external vendors, regulatory agencies, and other business areas.
  • Ability to perform well within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires the management of multiple projects at once, without compromising quality and service levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt approaches based on audience.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
  • Proficient computer skills – especially Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and HRIS/HRM systems;
  • Immediate available is preferred
