Business Analyst/ Senior Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily operation activities, performances and qualities to assure smooth daily operations;
• Carry out regulatory compliance and business requirements, projects and system enhancements;
• Gather business requirements, perform analysis to evaluate the information gathered and help business users define application workflow / system enhancement areas to address end users’ business needs;
• Provide business analytic support with focus on user acceptance test of new applications and enhancements to existing applications;
• Execute user acceptance test, document test results and communicate the results to both IT and business users for rectification / verification;
• Document functional requirements / specification which are clearly defined and in sufficient detail for system implementation and operation;
• Ensure all change requests from end users / IT are managed and approved in accordance with streamlining smooth workflow procedures efficiently

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in information system or a related discipline;
• Minimum 5 years' solid business analyst experience for financial services industry with at least 2 years in fund services area;
• Sound experience in business and data analysis, system enhancement and/or process improvement;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. 
• Understanding on technology usage and relevant applications for fund services are required; 
• Hands-on experience and sound knowledge of investment funds is an advantage;
• Experience with software development using .Net and Java and Progress technology is definitely an advantage;
• Able to work under high pressure with professional business acumen
• Strong analytical, problem identification and problem solving skills
• Proficient in computer including Excel and Spreadsheet;
• Good command of spoken & written English & Chinese
