Job Description
Our client is a Chinese bank and they are looking for a high caliber Team Head, Credit Assessment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the department head in supervising a team of credit officers to perform credit assessment and approval functions
- Review, approve and make recommendations of credit application to senior management for corporate and non-bank financial institution clients
- Assessments of credit limit and complied with HKMA regulations
- Take part in the formulation and review of credit policies, guidelines and SOPs
- Act as a member to attend Credit Review Committee meeting to discuss credit applications
- Prepare credit risk reports for the headquarter and senior management in a timely manner
- Work with Relationship Managers to perform due diligence which including site visits and structure credit package.
Requirements
- University degree in risk management, business administration, banking, accounting or finance or relevant discipline.
- At least 10 years banking experience, preferred with 3 years credit approval experience in Corporate Banking areas.
- Proficiency in Putonghua and Chinese input method
- Strong analytical, detailed mind and able to work under pressure
