Business Function
Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Objective

  • Business Manager assists the Head in conducting planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and also regular business reviews, taskforces relevant to the business

Responsibilities

  1. Business Planning and business strategies implementation support
  • Work with Head of IBG1&2 Management Office and business partners on business strategy planning, performance analysis including yearly budget cycle, monthly Business review, Master report update and other IBG1&2 required reports analysis;
  • Support business initiatives & strategies implementation. Monitor & report relevant developments related to market dynamics, peers, benchmarks to help guide and further refine strategy execution
  • Assist to review workflow and activities carried out in IBG12 for optimization, streamline workflow and look for area for improvement, thus enhancing productivity
  • Attend meetings and liaise with attendees on the summary minutes of such meetings with special emphasis on resolutions, initiatives and/or special assignments resulting from the meeting. Represent IBG1&2 liaise with internal segments to achieve optimal solutions.  
  1. Portfolio Management
  • Review and deep dive on portfolio data, monitor portfolio development including overall risk adjusted return, risk limit utilization, credit quality etc
  • Closely collaborate with RMG on credit related matters
  1. Risk and control issues coordination
  • Closely collaborate with IBG COO team on issues and associated risks related to business processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • Professional Qualification CPA is preferred
  • Possess minimum 7 years’ experience in audit or finance or banking
  • Good understanding on loan, T&M products offered by Institutional Banking Group
  • Big 4 Accounting Firm OR Relationship Manager background is preferred 
  • Familiar with banking policies and regulations 
  • Detail-minded and results oriented
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business planning, portfolio management and good Data assessment skill
