Job Description
This role is to assist the Casualty Manager in Hong Kong for profitable development of Casualty lines of business within Hong Kong, including technical specialist support and business development, to ensure achievement of profitable growth objectives as set out in the line Business Plans.
Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, accept or reject risks of Casualty business
- Develop and maintain relationships with producers to encourage the submission of targeted business, obtain necessary underwriting information and promote satisfactory service
- Identify process improvement plan, provide comments and feedback to any blockages
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- At least 1 year of underwriting experience in Casualty/General Liability products
- Mature, independent, self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Highly PC literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Underwriter
