Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing fixed income product and solutions to institutional investors in both primary and secondary markets;
  • Identify and drive sales opportunities in Global credit markets. Establish and maintain client relationships by understanding their needs, handling client inquiries in a timely and professional manner;
  • Work closely with traders to carry out daily market update and generate investment and trade ideas for investors;
  • Work in an intense trading floor environment to facilitate investors trading needs.
  • Work closely with Debt Capital Markets on various responsibilities, including but not limited to: sale of fixed income products in primary market, roadshow meeting arrangements, investor feedback collection, order execution, trade tickets input, bond settlement follow-up and other related work;
  • Develop new client base and maintain good relationship with existing clients; Assist new clients with on-boarding enquiries;
  • Coordinate with other internal departments and product partners, and drive projects on need basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; CFA level 1 passed is preferred;
  • 8 years’ experience or above in fixed income, i.e., Sales & Trading, DCM, Syndicate or related fields;
  • Fixed Income sales experience in both primary and secondary markets is required;
  • Solid experience in using Bloomberg and Bloomberg TOMS is required;
  • Strong learning ability, communication and coordination ability and team spirit, able to adapt to higher intensity work requirements; highly responsible and attention to detail;
  • Excellent command of spoken English, Mandarin, and/or Cantonese; written English and Chinese.
