CFO (Family Office)

About the role:
Our client is a private company, a family office that has sustainable business. Their trading volume has grown rapidly, and eager to expand further. With the changing needs of the markets and commitment towards sustainable development & growth in the regions, they are currently looking for an experienced CFO talent to join the organization. The role is based in Hong Kong.

Main roles and responsibilities
Reporting to the founder and CEO, you will be required to analyze, compare and ensure accuracy of monthly financial reports and budgets for all offices in global, analyze business results, revenues and expenditures and provide solutions improvement to Executive levels and ensuring that all proper audit reports submitted by officers are in line with local laws and regulations will also be part of daily activities, while keep up with local tax regulations in the different countries where they have offices set up.

Other roles & responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting, controlling and taxation operations, including group reporting, treasury function, taxation, consolidation, financial reporting, etc.
  • Prepare and justify timely, cash flow forecast, budget, cost, P&L analysis, etc., for management review
  • Accountable for all Management reporting, account standard alignment and reconciliation
  • Liaise and work with external auditors to support yearly audit, ensure successful compliance, fulfilling statutory requirements
  • Establish and maintain good standard operating procedures in order to minimize financial risks
  • Participate in strategic planning with management on the company’s performance and direction
  • Liaise with external parties on grants, support schemes and support programs
  • Other ad hoc projects assigned

Your profile:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance and accounting with CPA qualification
  • 15+ years of proven experience in finance management with sound knowledge on all-round financial accounting, treasury, and tax
  • 3 years’+ experience in executive leadership positions
  • Work experience in the family office/PE fund/real estate industry is preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, possessing good strategic vision and planning ability
  • Well-organized & detailed-minded, be able to deliver under tight deadline
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Immediate available is preferred
