We are seeking an experienced senior associate investment professional for full-time employment for our family office.

This position will be responsible for evaluating, closing, overseeing, and realizing proceeds on cash management and private investments.

Responsibilities

Company Cash Position and Forecast:

• Assist in cash management and process improvement
• Execute set strategy on cash management with Senior Management
• Cashflow Projection and High-level estimate of upcoming cash requirements
• Proposal on cash movements to Senior Management
• Execute cash management trades, conducting cash sweep when necessary
• Track performance weekly and monthly

Private Investment Management:

• Assist Senior Management to execute set strategy on asset allocation and investment strategy
• Prepare weekly summary of accounts by asset allocation and performance, as well as comparison with target asset allocation
• Perform research and consolidate update of market views
• Assist to execute trades with brokers and banks
• Assist Senior Management to perform ongoing tracking of performance on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

 Research and Sector Watchlist Tracking:

• Compile sector watchlists.  Set filters and selection criteria to identify companies with short profile of each.  Refine criteria over time.
• Update watchlist on weekly basis to identify high interest companies.  Compile detailed profile of each and create timeline of key capital/corporate events
• Assist in executing trades

 Governance, Process Improvement and Structure Setup:

•  Update KPI and on-going tracking of cash management department
• Assist in quarterly and annual update presentation for stakeholders
• Work with IS team and assist in automation processes

 Qualification and Requirements:

•  A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or a related field
• CFA designation (is a plus)
• Degree in Accounting, Financial, Mathematical or Quantitative Analysis is a plus
• 3+ years or more of specific research experience and investment experience preferred
• Strong financial acumen, financial modelling, and valuation skills
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and other software programs (Morningstar Direct, Microsoft Office, FactSet, Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, etc.)
• Ability to communicate effectively to groups in a presentation-style format
• Work effectively with team members but can also self-direct as needed
