Responsibilities:

As assistant to Head of Operations and Settlement, work closely with the Head of Operations and Settlement to deliver operational and processing services to customers, business units and other support functions of the Branch in an efficient, risk based approach，compliant mentality managing the 5 teams under Operations and Settlement (Account Opening Services, Payment Services, Financial Market Settlement, Security Services and Project Team) to ensure everyday smooth and accurate functioning and business contingency. Liaise with relevant parties for policies, procedures and structure/system establishment etc.

 Requirements

• University Degree in Banking, Economics, Finance or related discipline
• At least 10 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in supervisory level. 
• Good command of English and Chinese (Putonghua) Good leadership and team work spirit and interpersonal skill. 
• Familiar with supervisory policy manual and regulatory rules and practices is definitely an advantage.
• Broad based knowledge in Commercial and Private banking operations, with strong experience in at least 2 of the areas;
• Well versed with local banking regulations and market practice;
• Strong management skill, problem solving ability and excellent communication (written and oral);
• Strong risk awareness and pre-emptive in operation risk identification;
• Strong initiative in driving for change;
• Strong insight in the Branch’s capabilities, resources availability and business priorities and be able to develop optimum operation models
