Job Description

Job Purpose

Lead a team to perform mortgage discharge and/ or other securities discharge function to both personal & business customers.  Manage and administrate the process in an efficient and cost effective manner while maintaining high quality and adequate controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and implement Mortgage and/ or other securities discharge process / workflow and maintain a high service quality team to provide high standard output with accuracy and efficiency
  • Liaise with Legal and external lawyers for mortgage discharge function
  • Drive change on the mortgage and/ or other securities discharge process / workflows to align with the Business strategy and management direction
  • Review the relevant process / workflow of the team and develop the best practice in handling Mortgage and/ or other securities Discharge
  • Assist AGM of Document Delivery in preparing resource planning and management reports
  • Lead the team to take up new initiative and other ad hoc tasks as assigned
  • Cross Teams support related to documentation areas as assigned
  • Coordinate and manage different projects as assigned
Requirements
  • Degree holder or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in credit administration / documentation
  • Good knowledge of legal requirements for perfection of mortgage discharge / securities release documentation
  • Good knowledge and concept in loan products
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
