We are looking for a high calibre Finance professional to join our Finance Department under CLP Digital. Reporting to Associate Director – Finance (CLP Digital), the incumbent will provide financial support to support digital business partnering across the Group, with key responsibilities and requirements summarized as follows:

Responsibilities

• Provide insightful details, relevant financial analysis and business advice to support digital business partnering across the Group on various digital projects, including IT, security and data capabilities.
• Lead the CLP Digital financial budgets formulation and proposals for CLP Group
• Provide professional advice, re-design and implement effective mechanism to drive financial performance and cost monitoring, track companywide digital projects benefits, as well as reflecting the benefits back to the business.
• Drive the development of new governance framework and lead internal control monitoring activities to ensure proper compliance.
• Collaborate with external tax consultants for compiling statutory reporting with reference to the relevant overseas tax requirement, and quantifying and mitigating CLP Digital exposure to overseas tax evolving from time-to-time.
• Produce and effectively deliver top quality management reports and financial analysis with both quantitative and qualitative assessments.
• Manage and strengthen business planning and management reporting process to support Management’s decision.
• Monitor inter-company recharges and resource allocation among Digital teams across the Group.

Requirements

• A recognised university degree in Accounting or Finance and professional qualification issued by a recognised accountancy association
• At least 8 years’ relevant working experience in management reporting, or business planning and budgeting
• Possess good business knowledge from IT, Cybersecurity and Data business perspective
• Proven interpersonal skills and capability to communicate effectively at all levels in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong analytical mind and problem-solving abilities with good business acumen
• Creative, independent, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Familiar with SAP application would be an advantage
