About Our Client

Our client is a prestigious international bank with a long history of providing corporate banking solutions to businesses and to large local companies, financial institutions and multinationals. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Asia Pacific Control Room members to handle control room tasks
  • Assist in preparation of periodic reports to relevant parties and periodic review
  • Organise and conduct APCR related training with different departments
  • Assist with the follow up on Insider Categorization and Training
  • Assist in other compliance tasks as required to achieve team objectives:
  • Assist in updating the firm's policies & procedures
    • Assist with the maintenance of the Firm's Restricted List, Watch List and Grey List
    • Facilitate information barrier crossing requests and update the associated systems
    • Assist with pre-deal research publication process and coordinate with Business, Compliance and External Counsel on related matters
    • Assess and manage of potential conflicts of interest
    • Provide compliance clearance on research products and ensure all publications comply with policies and legal provisions
    • Assist on operation process enhancement and provide feedback on polices and procedures 
Requirements
  • Around 3-5 years of relevant experience within compliance/ financial institutions/ professional firms an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Law or related subject
  • Previous experience with international banks or financial institution is an advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build good working relationships with different business, management and other functions
  • Ability to work through tasks systematically and monitor own work to ensure consistency and timeliness.
  • Ability to learn and understand applicable regulatory rules and regulations and industry best practices.
  • Ability and strong desire to work as part of an effective and collaborative team.
  • Effective written communication skills for report writing and analysis.
  • Responsible, thorough, professional and high regard for accuracy and quality
  • Attention to detail, efficient and strong administration / organization skills
  • Able to work under pressure and willing to work flexible hours
