Job Description
Assistant Settlement Manager (Job ID: 3255)
Responsibilities
- To be a team member of Settlement Operations Department;
- To support and manage daily Treasury Operations activities for Foreign Exchange/Money Markets/Debt Securities and/or Derivatives and Structured products;
- To perform life cycle settlement control and internal/external reporting;
- To ensure operation procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements;
- To handle change requests and execute user acceptance tests;
- To make suggestions to improve the operational efficiency;
- To participate actively in any ad-hoc projects for the department/Bank as required.
Requirements
- University graduates preferably major in Banking, Economics, Finance or related disciplines;
- Full membership of Treasury Markets Association or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in banking sector with sound knowledge in treasury operations and ability to lead a team to ensure excellent services are provided;
- Knowledge in various payment systems, such as SWIFT, RTGS etc. is an advantage;
- A team player with good communication skills and risk awareness;
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
