Job responsibilities

• Prepare macro research reports, asset allocation analysis reports;
• Prepare market materials for daily meetings, identify trading opportunities with reference to latest market news and provide trading advices to portfolio managers;
• Assist bond investment managers to maintain bond universe，and prepare bond selection and tracking reports based on market trends and fundamental analysis;
• Discuss with private funds before investing in private bond funds; organize due diligence and prepare relevant reports (for submission to investment committee as necessary) ; participate in clients’ communication and road show of fixed income funds investment projects, etc;
• Assist portfolio manager in managing fixed income public funds, private funds and managed accounts and preparing performance reports;
• Assist in handling OTC bond inquiries and transactions;
• Assist in approval of agreements and investment for repo, leverage note, etc;
• Provide trading support including but not limited to floor trading strategies, long-short trading strategies, OTC trading strategies, etc.

Job Requirements

• Master degree or above in finance or relevant disciplines;
• Holder of SFC licenses for Type 4 and 9 regulated activities; CFA or CPA certificate holder is preferred;
• At least 3 years of experience in bond investment, familiar with domestic and overseas bond markets, bond connect transactions; good exposure in quantitative research is a plus;
• Solid knowledge of capital market and investment, strong quantitative analytical ability; familiar with analytical softwares; and demonstrated strong interest in capital market research;
• A team player with strong adaptability to different tasks and work;
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
