Job Description
Our client is a full fledged Chinese iBank. To cope with their new online trading business in HK, they are now looking for a Credit Risk candidate to join them:
Job responsibilities:
- Lead a small team to perform daily credit risk management function to support margin financing and stock borrowing function for retail & institutional brokerage business
- Perform credit due diligence and analysis on clients and counterparties that may range from individuals, banks, private companies and insurance companies, with applicable regulatory guideline and/or industry best practices;
- Provide professional opinion on credit risk matters (including credit rating on creditworthiness, collateral management) and make recommendations to The Committee;
- Maintain and update internal margin ratio model for various products, including equities, bonds, funds, structured products and etc.
- Develop credit risk policies and monitor the compliance of these policies
- Prepare and update risk management report on regular basis
- Participate in various risk management related projects and tasks, including system development and ad hoc risk analysis
Job requirements:
- Degree holder or above
- At least 5 years relevant experience in sizable financial institutions (e.g. securities house, investment banks)
- Work independent and able to work under pressure
- Sound knowledge in financial and loan products
- Experience in preparation of credit reports in Chinese
- Good command of Cantonese and English, fluent Mandarin is a must
- Proficiency in PC skills especially in VBA, MS Excel and Chinese Word Processing
