My client has the aspirations to the further develop growth presence in Asia Pacific and is current seeking for an APAC Strategist to oversee Strategic Planning and M&A.

Your new role
Reporting to the SVP of APAC Strategy, you will be responsible for Wealth Management initiatives leading to the growth of business via acquisition or partnerships. You will partner directly with country level heads to identify opportunities and gaps within their respect countries and implement plans to grow their business.

Initiatives range from:

• Technical analysis of APAC markets
• Identifying & Execution of M&A deals
• Business & Market Entry Strategy

What you'll need to succeed
You will have 15+ years of experience within Corporate Development and Strategic Planning. Experience within the Asia Pacific markets; South China, Singapore, Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

• Professional Consulting background will be an advantage
• Life Insurance experience will be strongly preferred
• Exposure to initiatives involving: HNW Life, Asset Management and Private Banking
