As part of the business team, the Senior Business Analyst role is assumed in a Subject Matter Expert capacity in supporting the core banking implementation project, including SIT, UAT, and go-live support. Act as the bridge between business and various technical teams, this role’s primarily responsibility is to ensure requirements are in-line, and oversee the implementation of the responsible system modules.

The ideal candidate should have prior core banking system implementation experience including customer management modules, account servicing modules and in particular, internet banking modules.

 Responsibilities:

• Adequately capture, analyze, document, and review the business/design requirements and user cases to thoroughly define and represent the mandated functionality and results
• Work closely with front line departments to clarify their requirements and negotiate a solution that is beneficial to all relevant stakeholders
• Identifying functionality gaps in the requirements and collaborating with other SMEs to provide possible solution options
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements (or vice versa) to ensure the understanding of business and technical teams are in-line
• Oversee the implementation of the solutions (by the vendor) and validate the final product that satisfies the defined requirements
• Work closely and effectively with multiple third parties (including both internal and external) as required in the delivery of solutions
• Coordinate necessary training with business, operational and technical users during the implementation phase of the project
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and various business units

 Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in IT, business, or related disciplines
• 10 years or above directly related work experience in the banking industry
• Related work knowledge and experience in areas such as core banking / internet banking system requirements collection, configuration, software development life cycle, system testing and etc
• Experienced working in the regional, highly matrixed business environment
• Commercial/Corporate Banking experience is advantageous, Personal/Retail Banking experience is also beneficial
• Resilient under pressure and long hours
• Good technical skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft collaboration tools
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Good command in both verbal and written English, conversational Putonghua would be an advantage
